Step 1

How to Measure Yourself

Stand naturally and keep the tape snug but not tight. Measure over light inner-wear for best results.

Bust / Chest

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Waist

Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above your belly button.

Hips

Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

Height

Stand straight against a wall, heels together. Measure from top of head to floor.

💡 Pro tip: If you are between two sizes, we recommend sizing up for a relaxed, comfortable fit. All our garments carry approximately 1 inch of ease margin.

Sarees

All sarees come in Free Size. Standard saree length is 5.5 metres + 0.8 metre blouse piece.

🥻 Blouse note: The included blouse piece is unstitched. Please take it to your local tailor for stitching. Recommended blouse measurement — record your exact bust size plus 1 inch ease when visiting the tailor.

Fit Tips

A few things to keep in mind before you order

✓ Size up at the border. If your measurements fall between two sizes, always choose the larger size for a comfortable, breathable fit.
✓ 1 inch ease is built in. All garments include approximately 1 inch of ease on top of the stated body measurement — so the garment is never skintight.
✓ Prioritise bust for tops. For kurtis and tops, match your bust measurement first. The waist and hem can always be slightly adjusted by a tailor.
✓ Cotton garments may shrink slightly. We recommend washing in cold water on a gentle cycle to preserve the fabric and colour.
✓ Hand-block prints vary slightly. Because our prints are hand-made by artisans, minor motif placement variations are a mark of authenticity, not a defect.

Wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid scrubbing.

Wash dark colours separately for the first 2–3 washes to prevent bleeding.

Avoid direct sunlight. Dry flat or hang in shade to retain shape and colour.

Iron on Low

Use medium heat. For block-printed fabrics, iron on reverse side.
